Rhonda Larabee is a dynamic and enthusiastic member of Jenni Sloan’s team. As Business Director, Rhonda brings a well-trained design eye and an unwavering commitment to efficiency and project management that ensures every transaction is seamless and successful.
Born in Chicago but raised in Daytona Beach, Rhonda has been a long-time resident of Florida, earning her Bachelor of Arts Design in merchandising from the American College for the Applied Arts before moving to Winter Park, where she has remained ever since. Rhonda has experience in the textile, fashion, and design industry, serving as owner and buyer of Ellie, an upscale women’s boutique on Park Avenue, and serving as owner and buyer of Smiling Button, a domestically-made, online children’s playtime dress company that was sold in 2014.
Working along side the design team at Bledsoe & Bledsoe, Rhonda discovered her passion for not only conceptualizing designs, but expertly implementing them in an economical and artistic manner. This hands on experience allowed her to gain valuable insight into the nuances of staging homes, of transforming spaces, and of envisioning the big picture and long-term goals of clients. Often described as exceptionally creative, highly ambitious, and extremely organized, Rhonda has the unique ability to not only enhance design aesthetic and appeal, but works alongside Jenni to establish an open relationship with each client to make certain every envisioned dream is fulfilled.
Rhonda and her husband Scott have been married nineteen years, and have two daughters, Maddi who attends the University of Colorado, Boulder and Bennett, who attends Winter Park High School. Rhonda enjoys spending time with her family, running with the family dog, boating, and volunteering in her community with organizations such as the Make-A-Wish Foundation, the Foundation for Foster Children, Family Friends and Chicken Soup mission, and the Winnie Palmer and Arnold Palmer Children’s Hospital. Rhonda is also a member of the University of Central Florida’s Flying Horse, a non-profit, collaborative research studio for the visual arts that publishes limited-edition prints, pieces, and books from internationally-renowned artists.
With her natural design talent and passion for helping people achieve their dreams, Rhonda joined Jenni’s team and the rest was history & a creative, powerful and dynamic relationship was born.
