March Madness

March is a busy month in the 32789 - here are a list of events you won't want to miss! 

Pablo Picasso Exhibit

Baterbys, Orlando’s premier art gallery, is opening its doors to the public to view one of the largest exhibitions of major works by world-renowned 20th century master, Pablo Picasso. Entitled “The Diary of a Master,” the exhibition will showcase the entire 347 series, numerous signed etchings, aquatints and linocuts, and lithographs from his Verve suites. Everyone is invited to view this amazing display of masterworks from one of the most famous names in the world of art! This one-of-a-kind exhibition is being presented by Baterbys and other major sponsors to benefit the Florida Hospital for Children; in support of helping their littlest patients get the best medical care available. General viewing is from February 20th through May 5th with a suggested $5 donation per person as an entrance fee.
100% of the exhibition ticket sales from the opening reception and general admission will be given directly to the Florida Hospital for Children. A generous portion of all proceeds from Picasso artworks sold for the duration of the exhibition, including the reception will also be donated to the foundation.

On Thursday, March 2, the Winter Park Chamber of Commerce and Park Avenue Merchants Association will host Sip, Shop & Straw Poll  presented by Allegro from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m.

'Tis the Season

'Tis the Season and the 32789 has been spreading some major holiday cheer! From the 38th Annual Christmas in the Park, (lights are turned up on nine century-old Tiffany leaded-glass windows and Central Park is transformed into a luminous concert hall for the esteemed 160-voice Bach Festival Society Choir), to the 64th Annual Christmas Parade topped off with Pancake Breakfast in the Park, it truly is the most wonderful time of the year!

3 TO 5 DAYS.....that's how long one can go with out water. Tessa Hahn &  dynamic crew are on a mission to bring clean water to those in need. 

3 TO 5 DAYS Founder & Winter Park Native, Tessa Hahn 

3 TO 5 DAYS is a non-profit organization that is focused on providing sustainable solutions for clean water to areas in need.

We partner with other water organizations to provide sustainable options for sourcing clean water. Once determined, we help communities turn these water solutions into social businesses for their economy to thrive. We train and provide business tools for community members to become water providers, water technicians and self sufficient on providing water for their communities.

The Genevia School Salt Program

Giving Back

SALT helps the community. On SALT day about 700 students, parents, faculty, and staff will donate over 3,500 hours to the community by volunteering with 13 Central Florida non-profit organizations. The day will be spent stocking food banks, making seniors smile at a retirement home, greening up local parks, packing meals for the hungry, and more.

SALT helps the school. The program raises necessary funds for The Geneva School to continue providing reasonable tuition and scholarship assistance to Central Florida families. It also develops a culture of giving within our community.

SALT helps our students. SALT educates our students about areas of need in the local community.  It also shows them why serving others is important and how they can make a tangible difference in the world.

Every March around 300,000 people roll into Winter Park for the annual Winter Park Art Festival. Kelly Price & Company takes advantage of the amazing weather, music and energy and throws their own client appreciation party to kick off the event!
